The art of boxes is included in this section. Boxes have always been so important in the Asian world. Even if it one ofthe most popular object, it can also me the most fascinating one. It can be used as making offerings in the temple, or as a box to keep adornments and jewelry. Different materials depending on the specificity are used, such as  old metal boxes that were used to store dry food.

Other boxes are made of bronze to make a real work of art, such as boxes used to store calcium. Some have special shapes like  wooden one for storing and drying tobacco leaves. As for the old Burmese lacquered boxes entirely hand painted, they reveal all the finesse of the art of craftsmen.
